We are Airtime, the world’s first social platform that gives friends the power to experience content together in real-time. The only place where you can face-to-face video chat with your people while simultaneously interacting with content from across the web. 

Like many of us, we are tired of traditional social networking apps that aren’t designed to allow us to sync up and be present together at the moment. Frankly, we are tired of mindlessly scrolling through feeds, leaving comments that go unanswered, and having to hack our way around actually staying in contact with those we care about most (e.g. Finstas). Instead, we believe that real-time interactions are more fulfilling as they allow us to connect with the people we care about in a more significant way.

Airtime People 

The recruiting team at Airtime is ramping up for major growth and there’s a lot of room for impact. We are currently utilizing internal and external resources to maintain a healthy recruiting pipeline.  Over the next 6 months, we will be focused on growing our team internally, starting with this Senior Technical Recruiter position, which will be dedicated to our technical roles. 

This is an imperative role in AirTeam’s growth success. We are scaling our engineering, product and design teams and looking for someone to take this challenge on. You will create relationships with our technical leadership, build process around our interview strategies and add value to our candidate experience, which we hold in high regard. This is an opportunity to exercise your recruiting strengths and learn from our experienced team about how to effectively scale a consumer product startup!

 

What You’ll Do

  • Source, engage and hire top talent for the engineering and product teams
  • Manage a talent acquisition strategy that involves a prospect funnel, applicant funnel, and driving the activity for employee referrals 
  • Cultivate and maintain an ongoing strong working relationship with hiring managers and HR to facilitate workforce planning strategies and create a partnership that ensures a fast and simple hiring process
  • Prepare offers, create strategic closing plans, negotiate compensation packages, and ultimately sign top candidates
  • Understand the market and design innovative and creative ways to connect and attract the right talent for our teams
  • Collaborate with recruiting team members to ensure an exceptional candidate experience
  • Cultivate and maintain an ongoing strong working relationship with hiring managers and HR to facilitate workforce planning strategies and create a partnership that ensures a fast and simple hiring process
  • Maintain reporting metrics and generate reports on a regular cadence

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of successful technical recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally a startup
  • 2+ years of in-house experience working with technical hiring managers in a metrics-driven environment
  • Aptitude in full pipeline management: sourcing, recruiting and closing candidates at all levels with the understanding of metrics/data you’ll need to succeed   
  • A self-organized, highly focused and savvy recruiter with the latest recruiting software knowledge; experience with the ATS, Greenhouse, is a major plus
  • Prior experience scaling early-stage companies with multiple locations & teams, a plus
  • An entrepreneurial mindset who loves the driving process and taking ownership of the candidate journey end-to-end
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with all parties including internal/external recruiters, hiring managers and candidates
  • Creative, strategic and a continuous drive for improvement
