A bit about the role:
Airtime is looking for a Director of Creator Products responsible for all creator-facing products and experiences, including monetization. You will grow Airtime’s creator base while keeping creators engaged, building products that differentiate the Airtime experience from other live experiences on social/mobile platforms. Airtime’s Director of Creator Products must be well-versed in revenue producing product strategies with a strong understanding of mobile/social products and a strong technical foundation.
A bit about the work:
- Provide user-facing product vision, roadmap, and monetization strategies for creator-facing products and experiences across Airtime’s live social product offerings
- Experience building product creator strategies that include articulation of business cases for monetizing events, leveraging Airtime’s platform and demonstrates a forum for content creators to offer our members a fun user experience that rates highly in both user love and product finesse
- Develop a Product that provides value to content creators hosting events on our platform
- Demonstrate expertise and numerous successes in building products for creators to leverage while assisting them in building front-line, live social products/events with a robust member/follower base
- Create clear and concise information to help our content creators by documenting product user guides for content creators hosting rooms/live events
- Familiar with the Product, experience with our target audience (Gen Z) and is aware of content-creators on competitive platforms
- Knowledgeable about diversification and monetization strategies (subscription, merchandise, tickets, and ads) that when leveraged effectively generates sustainable revenue to the Airtime app
- Hands-on success as a creator that has demonstrated competence in building a social following leveraging YouTube channels with an expertise in utilizing tools that facilitate creation of products to include: YouTube, Patreon and Instagram in a meaningful and profitable way
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure our product is fast, fluid, and scalable at all times mindful of the UX to ensure product content management is robust through launch, leveraging established processes, tools, and communications mechanisms within Airtime (Jira, Slack, Mixpanel reports, etc.)
- Lead the definition, prioritization, intake, and scoping of content-management related initiatives, using all available data and resources to guide decision-making
- Collaborate with other product managers and cross-collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment on shared goals, priorities, and roadmaps
A bit about you:
- Bachelor's degree in business, or related field
- 8+ years product management experience with proven success in delivering on developing content creator materials (monetization strategies/growing audience/revenue
- Experience building product creator strategies from the ground up
- Success in developing the blueprint/strategy for product creators resulting in content/user engagement and building content personas that offer differentiating live experiences on social/mobile platforms that includes details on hosting rooms and live events on Airtime’s platform
- Success in building revenue producing product strategies with a strong understanding of mobile/social products and a strong technical foundation
- Strong project management, leadership, and cross-group collaboration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills through all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
