We’re looking for an exceptional Creative Director excited about developing brands in the digital, social space. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role with autonomy and empowerment to affect change at the foundational level of our brand & communications.

The Creative Director will report to our CMO and collaborate with the Marketing, Product and Content teams to define, develop and design the brand and communications that the whole company rallies around. From the design direction of the visual identity, creative direction for marketing/advertising animations & videos to support in communications and presentations. We offer an opportunity to make a real impact. 

You are comfortable working with ambiguity as you collaborate to explore multiple design concepts and are fluent in design processes to identify and design the most effective and delightful solutions in this space. You are confident in going from conceptual thinking to high-fidelity execution of your concepts. 

From storytelling to visual design, we’re looking for someone that can empathize deeply with our users and use that empathy to push progressive design while inspiring and building a new team of designers, producers and copywriters.

What you’ll do:

  • Guide with the marketing design team to raise the bar of design thinking and execution across all our brand touch points. From campaign creative direction and brand guidelines to content creation and internal communications.
  • As brand guardian you will own the process from inception to shipping and back again. From sketches and style frames to visual design & documentation.
  • Set goals for the Marketing design team, develop organizational capabilities and how the team supports and works with the larger Marketing organization.  
  • Ensure project management of a wide range of design projects (from conception through production) including print and digital collateral, keynote presentations, videos, displays, and website graphics.
  • Guide and coach direct reports towards development and career progression while promoting a positive, inclusive environment.

What you’ll bring to the table

  • Demonstrated experience in driving and leading a brand at scale - bonus points for in-house experience and the ability to reach both a B2B and B2C audience
  • A portfolio showing an open and curious mindset with an enthusiasm for storytelling and craft in new platforms and technologies; with work spanning advertising, brand development, content, social media, digital marketing.
  • Exceptional understanding of the fundamentals of the creative process and design principles you will also have a strong working knowledge in working with Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop) as well as Figma. Bonus points for motion chops.
  • Excellent presentation skills and the enthusiasm and conviction to present brilliant ideas. You are able to distill complex information into meaningful concepts and strive to make sure nothing good gets left behind - whether they are your proposals or you are nurturing the ideas of others.
  • Proven leadership skills. You'll be comfortable in recruiting, guiding and retaining multi-disciplinary design teams
  • Ability to prioritize work and resources across briefs based on short- and long-term needs.
