A bit about the role:

Airtime is building the next generation of live, social platforms. We believe in the power of shared experiences and are creating a fun, personalized and shared space for friends to explore the world together.  We’re looking for an exceptional Head of Content & Brand Strategy excited about building a unique content experience from the ground up, focusing on user engagement through shared experiences.  Leverages the Airtime platform’s features, to build a fun and engaging brand through a robust cadre of rooms/events  to attract audiences.  Builds brand recognition and user confidence and trust.  

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer,  builds and maintains a strong pipeline of new content opportunities; sourcing, negotiating, to grow all phases of new content deals.  Builds partnerships pertaining to content strategy and  market assessment.   Cultivates and nurtures professional relationships ensuring the best content is procured.    Works cross-functionally with internal teams and brings a strong awareness of social-marketing building dynamics including understanding emerging content formats and the social space.

This is a highly-visible role and the right candidate should be very comfortable interacting with the senior leadership team on a regular basis, while making compelling and data-driven recommendations. This role will be externally facing, so a comfort level working and collaborating with senior executives in the industry is a must, as is articulating Airtime’s unique position in the market and finding creative ways to partner together. This is a new role, and the opportunity to impact the business and the audience experience is limitless. 

A bit about the role:

  • Lead content vision, strategy, execution and provide  team leadership for the Content Marketing Team
  • Build communities by leveraging content and brand
  • Create, plan and execute  Airtime's Community Content marketing strategy  across a variety of channels (digital, OOH, social) with success setting up a hyper-successful content marketing  platform 
  • Develop and execute a robust plan to grow user and creator community 
  • Mine the marketplace for unique and differentiated content opportunities to provide a real-time live social platform that delights audiences: from traditional licensing of content, promotion of  events and experiences
  • Drive all aspects of the deal process in coordination with the CMO: from sourcing and initial contact with prospective partners, to performing rigorous analysis,  through deal closing.
  • Communicate regularly with the leadership team on: market trends, new business opportunities, and competitive analysis
  • Flexible -- be prepared for the unexpected: ad hoc projects supporting key content initiatives balancing and juggling both the predictable as well as unpredictable

A bit about you:

  • 8+ years of industry-related experience
  • 5+ years building and leading a team  
  • Previous success setting up a hyper-successful content marketing  platform
  • Demonstrated success creating, planning and executing Community Content marketing strategy  across a variety of channels (digital, OOH, social) 
  • A creative thinker, with strong analytical roots:  identifies novel ideas to expand content and build brands, strong political savvy and negotiating skills to persuade internal stakeholders, as well as external partners.
  • First-class communicator, who excels at getting to the point: we are moving very fast, so effectiveness at distilling big ideas into actionable plans, with a keen ability to prioritize many moving parts will be key to success.
