A bit about the role:

Airtime is looking for a Video Editor to help our marketing team edit innovative, brand videos that tell the Airtime story across all paid and organic channels. Responsible for developing compelling customer acquisition videos in conjunction with our performance marketing team to drive Airtime app installs with our core value prop. Collaborates with other Airtime hosts and communities to promote upcoming and live rooms, how-to video tutorials, and content-specific video promos, trailers and sizzles. 

A bit about the work:

  • Edit innovative, brand campaigns that tell the Airtime story across all paid and organic channels 
  • Develop evergreen brand video and motion assets to build our video library and support the marketing, product, content and people teams with video elements.
  • Establish technical and creative video workflows for the brand creative team
  • Expertise in video storytelling and pacing with experience working in short-micro form content
  • Experience editing end-to-end short-form video promos, sizzles and trailers for branded content
  • Execute motion design in the context of video using After Effects and Figma
  • Partner with Growth Manager and Social Media Manager to innovate on new social video trends
  • On-set production experience and understanding of live action production workflow a plus

A bit about you: 

  • BA or MFA in film and video creative field preferred and experience in video production required
  • Experience as Assistant Video Editor in an agency or startup company a plus 
  • Flexibility working within an ever-changing, fast-paced video production environment
  • Always staying on the cutting edge of pop culture and identifying new opportunities for brand
  • Experience working with teams and organizing multimedia file types within projects
  • Demonstrated success in motion graphics finishing, audio mixing, music licensing experience for broadcast and digital media preferred
